Pretty code.

Last night, I finally got around to creating my own stylesheet for the syntax coloring on my blog. I finally like looking at code on my site now. :)

It is based on my TextMate theme, which is a mashup of Wilson Miner’s Slate and one of the other built-in themes (can’t remember what it’s called). But, I changed a few things for the web display. But yeah, TextMate these were definitely in my mind here. :)

I’m a big admirer, Jeff. currently it’s Django vs SimpleLog vs Mephisto vs WordPress as a constant battle in my head. (cowers waiting for the whippings)

Luke- No whippings from me. All are good platforms, but I think Django is the one of those things that doesn’t belong. SimpleLog, Mephisto, and WordPress are all blogging platforms, whereas Django is a web app framework that would let you create a blogging app (or any other sort of web app, for that matter). Certainly, if you want a pre-built blogging app, you can’t really go wrong with SimpleLog, Mephisto, or WordPress. All seem really quite good to me. But, none of them would let you create other kinds of apps besides blogs — so that’s how Django differs. All good software, though. :)
