Yeah, it was a hilarious ordeal.
It was in another part of the company, entirely different form where us online folk normally work, and they had perhaps the world oldest functioning television, along with a circa-1985 VCR.
The copyright on the video was 1985, too — so we saw a few of the head honcos in the company now as they looked 20 years ago. Funny stuff.
And, the video was chock-full of safety tips like, “you can find the blue safety handbooks behind the bookshelf by Jack’s desk.”
We, of course, have no idea who Jack is (presumably he doesn’t work here anymore), or where his office is/was, or if that office still contains a bookshelf. Hilarious.
Sounds like you guys need to develop an updated training video with a bunch of flashy graphics that can be streamed to everyone’s computer at the World Company, just so they can retire the sad VCR and tiny TV.
