Similar to their charts API, Google offers up a static maps interface, whereby map images are served up directly via nothing more than a URL and some parameters. Neat.
Hi Jeff. Do you really think its fair to hide “powered by Google” on your maps when Google give you(us) so many useful tools, such as this one? Sorry dude, I’m not trolling, but I’m not sure that what you’ve done is right. I think if you want to remove this then you should pay for your own mapping solution. If everyone was doing this I see little incentive for google or anyone else to keep giving us innovative tools that allow us to keep making fantastic websites. Just my 2 cents…
