Clearly, this evidence suggest Clay Bennett is a jackass who never had the best intentions of Seattle or the Sonics in mind — but we already knew that. The big question is: what does this mean to the future of the team in the Emerald City?
I don’t know, but I’ll tell you what I hope it means: I hope it means Howard Schultz can sue the bejesus out of Bennett for breach of contract and hand the team over to Steve Ballmer, who would be a freaking great owner. Fingers crossed.

Oh, the smoke and mirrors go deeper. Shortly after the owners group votes to allow the move, Paul Allen will announce that he’s moving the Trailblazers to Seattle, and will engineer to keep the Sonics name in Seattle.
