Digital Web Magazine has published my chapter from Web Standards Creativity, which is all about PNG images and interesting ways to take advantage of their unique alpha channel transparency. If you like this article, be sure to grab the book, which has similar types of content in each chapter, from a whose host of great web designers.

Don’t you just hate it when you’ve already splashed out on a book, then find part of it published online for free?!

Seriously though, it’s a good chapter and book so I don’t feel too let down… ;-)

This just hit my desk via Amazon this morning. I have to say, I absolutely LOVE the way the book itself is designed — plenty of screenshots, illustrations, varied colors, code snippets, etc. Easily the most engaging code/design book I’ve ever picked up. After about 15 seconds of flipping through I was thinking to myself, “You know, this is going to be fun to read ….” Very cool.
