Here is a state that is definitely in the lower-half of the nation when it comes to population (about 2.5 million, I think—or about half what the DC metro is), yet it has 40 daily newspapers. And there are more than a handful of newspapers in Kansas with less than 2,500 daily circulation. I love that!”
