As per usual, it’s hard to completely agree with Dvorak, but he definitely makes some interesting observations about how much the choice to build and bundle IE has backfired on Microsoft.

    What a load of crap. More people still use IE to this day than any of the other available browsers. Its not about profit, its about having the option.

    IE intergrating with the OS isn’t a problem, it can be a benefit. There are so many things I could say about this article. But I’ll just leave it at my above comment and move on.

    Virtually none. The fact that more people use it than any other browser means nothing. people, by and large, use it because they don’t know there’s an alternative.
